About A.D. Dholakia |
Prof. Dr. A. D. Dholakia is well known expert authority in the field of Fisheries Science related literature. His first book was published in 1986 titled Fish Processing Preservation and Quality Control in Gujarati, which fetched Sahitya Academy Award from Government of Gujarat, the first of its kind in literature related to fish industry. His second publication was Fisheries and Aquatic Resources of India in 2004, an English book marketed at International level. His third book on Ornamental Fish Culture and Aquarium Management in 2009, an English book being marketed at International level. The book has been given FIVESTAR ranking on internet for standards of book was his fourth book Identification of Prawns/Shrimps of India and their Culture in 2010. His fifth book Delicious Seafood Recipes. This is his sixth book.
Prof. Dr. A. D. Dholakia is M.Sc., LL.B.(Sp) and Ph.D. in Marine Aquaculture, with Marine Prawn culture subject. He is having rich 32 years experience in the field of fisheries in different department. He was positioned in very important posts during his tenure.
