COLONEL MAHIP CHADHA was commissioned in 1966 into The Second Battalion The Third Gorkha Rifles; one of the finest battalions in the world which had the honour of winning two Victoria Crosses in WWI.
The battalion saw action in both the World Wars returning to India after a final stint in Pakistan, and was taken over by Indian Officers at Ferozepore. Colonel Chadha retired in Jun 2000, after which he worked in various jobs till he finally retired as the President of Helios Aviation. He turned to writing after the demise of his wife Kiran in 2010.
Arjun Subramaniam: Group Captain Arjun Subramaniam was commissioned into the fighter stream of the IAF in December 1981. He is an alumnus of Rashtriya Indian Military College (RIMC) and National Defence Academy. An experienced fighter pilot with over 3000 hours on various types of fighter aircraft that include two variants of the MiG-21 and the Mirage-2000, he is a Qualified Flying Instructor and has commanded a MiG-21 Squadron. He has also been the Chief Operations Officer of a SU-30 base and is presently a senior faculty member at The Defence Services Staff College, Wellington.
