About Author :
Neelam Saxena Chandra is a talented writer! She completed her Engineering in Electronics & Power Engineering from V.N.I.T., Nagpur. She went on to finish PG Dip in I.M & HRD and PG Dip in Finance Mgmt. At present, she is working for the Indian Railways. Writing poetry and fiction is her passion. More than four hundred of her stories/poems have been published in various leading Indian as well as international magazines. Three childrens story books, one novella and one poetry collection have been published and five more are under publication including two novels. Her work has been published in various international anthologies and one of her stories won an award in a contest organized by Children Book Trust, India in 2009. She also received the Second Prize from eminent poet/lyricist Gulzarji in a Poetry Contest organized by the American Society, on the topic-Poetry for Social Change. Her book, Tales from Sundervan has been included in the long list in childrens category of the Economist Crossword Book Award. Neelam also debuted as a lyricist in Shankar Tuckers composition Merey saajan Sun Sun The song has won the POPULAR CHOICE AWARD in Folk Fusion category. in RADIO CITY FREEDOM AWARD
