Anju Kaur comes from the small religious town of Mathura, where she runs a playway school called Harvard Play School of which she is the Principal. She distributes her valuable time between motherhood, homemaking, being an educationist and indulging in poetry for which she has a natural flair ! She is also a talented AIR artiste, where she featured an socio-economic issues plaguing our society at large! She completed her education from Delhi University and also did a course in Mass Communication. Politically she has been the City President of the Congress Party and is the UP Secretary of the Women`s Wing. Her collection of poems is based on love-a rare commodity for those who crave for it but never really fulfill their desires-or are left yearning for this elusive item !
